Republic Day (26th Jan, 2011)
The Republic Day was conducted and organised by The Gandhi House. The Chief Guest Sir Ramesh Gujarathi (Senior teacher) took the honour to unfurl the tricolour. A beautiful prayer service was conducted with special prayers for the youth and country. This was followed by a skit reminding us of the sacrifices made by our National leaders. Students dressed as National leaders like Pt. Jawaharla Nehru, Jhansi Ki Rani, Mahatma Gandhi, Mrs Pratibhatai Patil etc. spoke their dialogues and slogans confidently. The enthusiastic and colourful patriotic dance put a fervour of patriotism in everyone present for the celebration. The Chief Guest Sir Gujarathi and the Pricipal Sr. Margaret Sequeira addressed the students by bringing into the limelight the virtues of truth and sincerity.
School Reopens: 15th June, 2011,
The school reopened on 15th June for the academic year 2011-2012 with refreshed minds after the summer vacation. The school assembly started with a special prayer service conducted by Sr. Ruth, asking the Lord to shower His blessings for the coming years.
Sr. Margaret Chettiar, the Manager made an official announcement of Sr. Margaret Sequeira as the Principal and Sr. Ruth Furtado as the Vice-Principal. She also welcomed Sr. Celcy Fernandes and Sr. Maria Kadam for joining Canossa Dhule.
Sr. Margaret Sequeira welcomed the students of std V and the new teachers.
